    This year's Killarney Women's Mini Marathon takes place on the 14th of September through the streets of Killarney town.If you have a group and your goal is to complete the Killarney Women's Mini Marathon then why not send you details onto us at info@killarneywomensminimarathon.ie i and we will list them here on the website.

    If you are finding it difficult to get out walking and running and need a bit of motivation then why not contact one of the groups listed and join them on their training which we will be updating on a weekly basis.

    Teams from your workplace, charities, gym, friends, families, etc are all welcome to take part. There are no limits to how small or big a team can be. Teams of 10 or more will qualify for a luxury Killarney Women's Mini Marathon hoodie for the main organiser or Team Leader. If you are running with a team or on behalf of a charity, we would appreciate if you would enter your team or charity name on the registration form.

    The Marathon is all about encouraging participation. A key element of the marathon is to encourage people and specifically women to get fit and healthy.

    In taking part as a team, we find that groups train together, encourage one another to succeed and may experience long lasting relationships. Often funds are raised for a local charity and importantly, success is celebrated together whether you walk, jog or run.

    All are welcome. Please make sure that upon entering, each person puts down a nominated name. On the day all participants will receive a Race Medal, T-shirt and goody bag. Random Spot Prizes will also be given out. Our vision for the future of the Killarney Marathon is to position the event as ‘the get out, get active' ‘feel better about yourself both mentally and physically.

    Killarney has over 250 years experience in welcoming tourists and has hosted many large sports events in the past. The day will be full of activity and fun for local, national and international athletes both for their friends and families.

    It Fits

    Motivating Feedback

When you complete your run and save it, you'll see a summary of how you did, including your total time, distance, average pace and calories. The watch even lets you know when you achieve a personal record, like your fastest mile or longest run to date.

    Training Tools
    For runners who want a little more, Forerunner 10 has a couple of simple training features like Virtual PacerTM, which compares your current running pace to your target. It also has a run/walk feature that's helpful if you're just starting out or your running plan includes walk breaks.

    Store and Share
    With a simple connection to your Mac or PC, you can upload your runs to Garmin ConnectTM to see your run on a map, get more detail on each mile and share it with friends - all for free.
